Pull the outer edge of the battery holder towards
you a bit, and then pull it out to the side.

The motor drive can be set to any speed equal to or
lower than the camera's shutter speed. If you set it
the motor faster than the camera it'll try to wind the
film during the exposure, which is not a good thing.
In other words:
motor@125 + camera@500 = OK
motor@125 + camera@125 = OK
motor@125 + camera@30 = Crunchy Noises
