The F5 has a 3 year warranty- I would get it fixed straight away by
Nikon if I saw the peeling thing. Nikon turned around my 2 F5 faults
(which shouldn't have been there in my opinion) in 4 days each time
(delaminating focus screen and sticky matrix meter giving very wrong
results). Tell 'em you need it for your work, they prioritise F5
repairs above others.
