Nikon'ers: I'm looking to sell my Nikkor 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 (non "D") lens (anyone interested ?) and would like to either upgrade to the "D" versions. My options are 1. Nikkor 28-80 f/3.5-5.6 "D" ($ 159.95) 2. Nikkor 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 "D" ($ 299.95) 3. Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 Asp-EX ($ 328.00) 4. Sigma 28-70 f/2.8-4.0 UC ($ 130.00) 5. Tokina 28-70 f/2.6-2.8 ($ 499.95) Since I don't have a big budget, the Tokina is out of my consideration. My questions are: 1. Do Sigma (3) and (4) incorporate the "D" technology ? If so, 2. How do (1) and (4) compare optically (very affordable lenses) ? 3. How do (2) and (3) compare optically (I'll have to push my budget) ? I'd greatly appreciate responses/feedback from people who have used any/all of these lenses. Also, if anyone has any of the lens (USED) for sale, let me know. Thanks. Cande Ananth
