I could be wrong but I can't see where a databack would need to calculate dates, it's basically an elapsed timer, therefore I doubt that the 00 in the date field would have any bearing on it. One thing you could check is to see if the databack will accept February 29th, 2000 as a date. I have worked on the Y2K compatability issue for a large Telephone company for the last 10 months and while I don't profess to be an expert by any means, I have a good understanding of what and what isn't compatable.
