..so little time. <g> Seriously, I'm looking for an AF body to go with my 2
MF bodies,
and since I don't have a full-line Nikon dealer within close driving
distance, I was
hoping my fellow Nikoneers can help me with one research detail.

At this point, I'm considering only the N90s and the F100; the F5 is too
heavy and expensive
for my needs, and the N60 has that weird requirement to use a button + dial
to set the aperture,
even in manual exposure mode. Which brings me to my primary question: Does
the F100
work the same way? I see that it has the "Nikon Command Dial" listed in its
specs, which
suggests that that method of operation is an option, but I need to know if
it's the ONLY
option in manual an AP modes.

When I looked at various Nikon cameras about a year ago at an out of town
dealer, I had a
chance to handle an N90s briefly, and I believe that it allows you to set
the aperture via the
lens, which is the only way that I will find comfortable. (I do a lot of
outdoor and cold weather
shooting with gloves, and I'm NOT interested in fumbling around with
pressing a button and
turning a dial under those conditions.) If my memory is wrong on this point,
someone
PLEASE correct me!

Thanks in advance!

Lou
