<I'm still wondering if I should change to a warming
filter instead of the skylight that I currently use. Is this a good choice
and how do B&W filters compare to Nikon?>

First, B+W makes excellent filters. Nikon too. B+W has a wider selection,
but if both offer a filter you're after, IMHO it's a coin toss.
As far as warming, first you'll see the effect much more if you use slide
film than neg, 'cause too many printers will correct for your "error."
Second, I think warming is great when it's wanted and not so great when
it's not. IOW, I use a clear fi lter for everyday insurance and pop on the
warmth when (and only when) it's called for.
        <My opinion, not my boss's>.
