Hi Manu, When you put an SB or compatible falsh on a FE2 or FA or FG, the synch speed is automatically set to 1/250 if you put the speed on A or more than 1/250. Results are greater when you set manually the synch speed to 1/250 AND lower (1/60 seems to be the most usefull) if you subject don't move too much. I often use 1/4 or 1/8 to show how the subject is moving and I prefer to use a fmash in auto mode or manual than in TTL mode. Lower the synch speed is higher the ambiance light is.
