What do you all shoot in the winter? I live in Vermont so winter lasts about 5 months give or take a week or two. Staying inspired is a simple matter of adapting to your surroundings. You mentioned black & white, you can get really moody scenics with long exposures of the ocean on dark days. Try moving closer to your subject. A cloudy, hazy day acts like a big softbox. Try some people pictures or animals, the animals are usually better tempered and work real cheap:-). Challenge yourself to shoot at least 5 different shots a day every day for a month. I bet you'll be surprised with the results, in a good way that is! Good shooting!
