Mike,
Yes, they are out. Yes they work perfectly for TTL
and you can use them in manual too. I have two of
them. One for fill and one for a kicker or
background light. My tests turned out fantastic,
I've used them on 5 assignments now where I shoot
35mm and carry a small light kit of 2 SB 26s and a
SB 25. I also used one in manual to get a specular
highlight on a machine when the subject and the
rest of the background was lit with my lumedyne
equipment. They are slick.
