Hello I think the following would be best for you: - since fast 50mm lenses are cheap, get the 50mm/1.4 lens. If it was a 24mm lens, where prices are much more apart, I'd say get the slower one, but since this is 50mm get the faster one.. - the flash unit best adapted to your equipment would be the SB-24, which is out of production now. Try getting an SB-24 or SB-25 used. SB-26 would be overkill, and SB-28 is just a "dumb flash" relying all on your cameras built in functions Robert
