I also thought that the MN-30 and MH-30 were a little expensive (Witch they
are really),
But when you sit down and work out how much it would cost to buy 250 sets of
lithium's (Thinking that lithium's last twice as long as each charge of the
mn-30), Then you will soon find that it does really work out "MUCH CHEAPER"
to buy both the MN-30 and MH-30 (Even if it is a big outlay at first !!!),
I got both the MN-30 and MH-30 when I got my first F5, And last month when I
got my second backup F5 I got another MN-30 with it.
They work just great, And once you get them you don't have to worry about
batteries ever again (Well not for at least 500 charges that is !!!).
Hope this helps convince you !!!
Thank You
Happy Snapping !!!

Folks,
A semi-Nikon related question.
Does anyone know a good source for AA lithium batteries for use in my F5
and my SB-28?
I would like to use them, since they weigh less than alkalines, as well
as lasting longer, meaning fewer backup to carry.
My local source sells them in pairs for about $5.25 US plus tax per
pair. This works out to about $23 to fill my F5.
I have considered getting the MN-30 and MH-30 combo, but this is a lot
of money (roughly $425 at B&H) for one battery and one charger.
Thanks,
Colin
