I've had one for about three weeks now and I'm pleased. The common 77m filter size makes it a welcome addition to my herd of lens. The response is very quick and the handling is great. The nouveau style lens hood (included) is also welcome. Pictures are sharp. All in all - I'm glad ot have it. As to the value - it is expensive but all is relative so when I say that it is of value to me that may be meaningless to others.
