I recently got a used EM. I used all my autofocus(D and non D) lenses like
24 2.8D, 50 1.8, 24-120 and 80-200 2.8D. All seem to work fine. Why do you
think EM can take only 'E' lenses? I guess it can take any F mount lens.
If anybody knows some limitations of EM as far as the lens compatibility is
concerned, please inform me. I thank you in advance for any such info.
Since EM has ONLY aperture priority autoexposure (with no exposure lock), it
is a bit awkward to achieve the exposure compensation. (You can do it by
adjusting the ASA setting only). But I still love this camera for its
simplicity, lightweight and the price I paid. And you get pseudo mirror
lockup by using timer which I don't have in my 9 times expensive N90s.

Hi Juanma,
I don't know if this answers your question but I suggest you get the FM2n.
It's fully manual (except for its meter of course) and its a current model.
The problem with the two camera's (EM, F2) you've mentioned is this:
EM: You have to use E lenses to go with this. I'm not sure but I don't
think the current and more regular lenses will work on this camera.
F2: While it is a classic, it is as you say, old and heavy. Though, I
believe the current lenses work on this camera.
There, the FM2n, btw, can be bought brand new for around 500 USD (last time
I checked). Everyone, if you see any error in my info, feel free to jump in
and correct me. Thanks. I hope I helped, Juanma. Happy shooting!
