information on the 80-200mm afs 2.8?

does anyone have any 1st hand information on the 80-200mm 2.8 afs lense?  i
own the previous incarnation of this lense, and find it wonderful, and
easier to use than my old 80-200mm ed lense.  i am interested in whether the
new lense uses different construction, how it handles, and it's optical
performance.  that it is faster to focus than the old lense is a given.

also is anyone aware of any web resource which has evalusted the lense?
