|(1) Is it true that Moose P. claimed this in his newsletter? and
|(2) if so, where did he get this information from?

I did not keep a copy of the newsletter.  But I believe it came out on 4/1,
i.e., April Fools Day.  Moose did have a "just kidding/I wish" disclamer in
the newsletter.
