Hello,
given that your Skies wash out with both the 1A and UV Filtersm there are
in my opinion 3 options open to you:
- underexpose by 1/3rd to 1/2 stop (not for diapositiver film)
- get a polariser (takes about 2 LV of light)
- try the Skylight 1C filter (stronger than 1A, but not as strong as a
polarizer)
Also I dont recoomend stacking filters, for the following reasons:
1) With every glass surface betwen the object and the film, additional
diffraction occurs, which costs obth light and definition
2) the stronger filter usually cancels out the weaker one.
