"Our own" Thom Hogan has written a review of this lens for photo.net,
and there are a number of comments following his review:

Essentially, if you need lenses in that focal length range and can afford
the price, the 20-35 zoom is the way to go. However, getting 2 or even 3
fixed lenses in that range is cheaper.
