Art and the gang, I just recently helped a friend purchase this lens along with an N70. My limited experiences with it are similar to Art's. No vignetting in any mode at any FL. It seems well designed and built; a nice overall "one lens" solution for average shooting (whatever that means to you). No warning slip came with the lens. Maybe another situation of sample variation?
