Hey, I am the other co-author of the languist code. Recruit is almost right: the project is abandoned. However we are interested in getting into shape/usable state again: the problem is as usual time and resources. If any of you guys have particular needs to use that, I can take a look and see how easy would it be to adapt.
I think some of Araq's and other people's ideas seem kinda similar to what we did, but we also have a rule system(similar to rewriting) which I think can help a lot(but it was in process of big redesign/refactoring last time I think) Basically feel free to ping us: people can help by giving us example code (if it's open source) or by contributing: I'd like to help them get familiar if they are interested
