I primarily use sublimetext (with nimlime) and disagree maintaining it is not worth it, it's one of the best editors (nim aside) and quite usable with nim thanks to nimlime, but yes it would benefit more contributors.
One of its best features are being lightweight, and its plugin infrastructure allowing you to write plugins in python (and nim, with some work).
