Thanks a lot guys.

@PMunch, thanks. This is what @Araq wrote, and now I get the point. On the one
hand, when I am comparing Python and Nim generally, it does not matter whether
they are using C or not; what matters is performance. But now I see that when I
am looking at one particular point, then it does make a difference.

@shirleyquirk, thanks. I do want to give Nim a try, though for a non-programmer
it's never an easy thing to learn an entirely new language, particularly when
you know that chances are you won't be able to use it in your job. But frankly,
I think that if I succeed to create a well-working, highly optimized, and easy
to understand application, then perhaps our company (a huge, global one) would
maybe not say no. So, who knows? But that's why I must be very careful with
that, get deep knowledge, and not risk that someone will tell me, "You kidding
me? Even as simple a thing as the `in` expression works quicker in Python." I
hoped to get support here.

@Aray, sorry again. And I really appreciate your support, particular now
knowing that we have Nim mainly thanks to you (thanks!). As a newcomer with
almost no background in computer science, I will make stupid mistakes, as I
suppose most of those who are new to any language. My most experience is not in
real programming, but in specific development and data analysis, something that
is quite different from real programming. Hence my knowledge can be
insufficient to learn a language like Nim; I know nothing about many things
that every single (true) programmer knows. And I do see a difference between
Nim and Python in terms of difficulty, even though I know a little bit of C (so
that I can write C extensions for Python). So, I'd like to apologize for all
those mistakes I will make and stupid questions I will ask, but I hope also
people like me are welcome to the forum. If not, please let me know it now and
I will simply close my account and you will never again hear from me. No hard
feelings, just a wave and a kind goodbye, that's all it takes.

And, finishing this way too long story (normally I am very economical in
words), thanks everyone.
