Here is a question for you: how does this impact you or anyone else that writes Nim software?
I can list a few positive impacts: * Better platform support * Easier wrapping of C/C++/Obj C code The only downside is needing to have a C compiler installer, but that's really not that difficult and Nim makes it effectively transparent. The feeling of "incompleteness" is just a feeling, if there is nothing concrete to back it up then it's not worth spending effort on fixing.
