Thanks all for you responses. It confronts me with the realization that I dont know yet exactly what I want....
Game-development has (for now) dropped off because of the complexity. One thread is simple math graphics which I can and will probably do with the proposed options..yeah!! Thanx. I also want to join in on an collaborative project of some kind. I notice also a lingering interest in myself in GUI-development, but that also becomes complicated quickly. Besides I would not know which GUI. Wrapping mature non-native GUIs or bottom-up Nim-projects. The Nim bottom-up approach is slightly preferable for me. But many of the nim GUI-projects stagnate at some point. I think there is not yet enough consensus or even clarity considering the options... starting from some supposed bottom-layer...the building-up of layers and finally the supported devices or a browser-approach. Without clarity and consensus, projects probably will continue to stagnate, because insufficient support can be found. Or am i too pessimistic and are all the separate projects part of the natural evolution and eco-system of the language? >From the GUI-development perspective, would it be useful to continue an >inventorization of projects and approaches sofar? Or is a laisser-faire >approach the better way?
