I think that GitHub is getting way too powerful, and there's no reason for a project like Nim to inhale and exhale but through their capricious mercies. Why not be self-reliant by setting up something like [Fossil](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fossil_\(software\))? (I try not to speak too often. Feel free to ignore me.)
