As nim is approaching the 1.0 release, I think it's worthwhile to ask the community (the users) this question.
for me, it's the missing/partial debugging functionality. to a lesser extent libraries, but that is unavoidable I guess. so in other words, the tools for using the language more effectively - not the language itself.
