Because you mentioned that. Is there actually a point in using nistnet? It
seems as if netem is much simpler to install than nistnet. Are there some
features in nistnet that netem doesn't offer?

I dunno about nistnet, but we've successfully used netem and htb here to
simulate both throughput and latency limits at the same time.
