Suggest you review the online documentation, and the archives for this
list. In general:
a. NistNet should be configured as a router between two subnets
b. Application tested should not run on nistnet box
c. Traffic to be modified is indicated by the end-point IP addresses
d. Pick a Linux distribution which someone on this list has
described as working for them ... E.g., RH EL3.0 (WS or AS)
