Jay Bhanushali and Ronit Roy The competitive spirit in the televille has
taken dangerous dimensions. Even the senior and popular actors are feeling
threatened by the popularity of younger actors. Fine examples are Ronit Roy
and Jay Bhanushali, who shared a warm relationship, until recently.

Apparently at an awards unveiling ceremony, both Ronit and Jay avoided each
other. Apparently the two actors were good friends till Jay gained more
points and popularity during the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2,
where Ronit was also a contestant.

Differences between the two actors grew when Ronit, who is a favourite with
the masses, was unable to make it to the top on the reality show. While Jay,
a new-comer in the television industry, enjoyed more appreciation from the
viewers for his performance. The actors attempted to reconcile but to no
avail.

Ronit Roy and Jay Bhanushali were good friends as they had worked together
in Kayamath and were participants in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa2. Sources say that
Ronit had even guided Jay and helped him improve his acting skills while
they worked for Kayamath.

Says a source, "Jay and Ronit were pals till Jay scored more popular votes
in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2, making it to the runners up list. This, apparently,
made Ronit insecure. It was evident because he would hardly exchange
greetings with Jay on the sets of Jhalak… Ronit couldn't take his ouster
sportingly."

Sources say that even at the post Jhalak… party both the actors met and
tried to resolve the differences, "But they still can't see eye-to-eye, they
hardly exchange greetings even when they come face to face. Even at the
recent press conference to announce the Balaji awards, the actors didn't
exchange smiles leave alone talking to one another."

When contacted, Ronit tried to brush aside the issue saying, "Jay and I have
never been thick of buddies. When I walked in I saw him standing outside,
then I went and sat with Jituji (Jeetendra Kapoor)."

However, Jay says "We knew each other in Kayamath and even better while
working for Jhalak... Ronit and I entered the Balaji press conference
together but then he got busy with his friends and I was with my friends."
