Karan Oberoi Singer-cum-actor Karan Oberoi is all set to turn producer with his first television soap. He has managed to bag a primetime slot on Zee TV for his debut production.
Karan says his production house Artistic Unlimited wants to do something 'different' from the regular crop of saas-bahu sagas. He says, "My show will not be anything like the regular family dramas." (Now where have we heard that one before?) Talking about the new show, Karan says, "My show is a thriller. But, I've attempted to make it family-centric." Karan we hear wants to have all fresh faces in his cast. The show which is still at its planning stage will go on air within the next two months. Karan adds, "We are working on the details right now. The show will go on air very soon." When asked whether he himself will act in the show, he says, "I don't want to act in my own shows. However, I might do a cameo sometime." Karan's production house had produced the first music video of the Band of Boys.
