Hi everyone :) Now many of you have heard of Grouply, been advertised quite a bit and said to be a really good thing to use for those in many groups.... everything comes with a price though.... you give personal information that you should never give. Namely your yahoo id and worse your password. Passwords should never ever be given out to anyone as it opens the door to your account and makes you vulnerable. So I urge you NOT to join Grouply. All email addresses are visible to everyone within Grouply and does make it easy for those who collect addresses for spam. So please be considered towards all other group members in all groups that value their privacy and do not want their email adresses to be available to others. It isn't such a big ordeal to be in many groups and keep things organized. Don't make other friends and member of groups you belong to vulnerable by joining Grouply. We all like our privacy and I for one hate to know that email's and email addresses from my members can be seen by others! If you have joined Grouply I urge you to leave them and by doing so showing other members and friends the respect of keeping their mail addys and names private. In the future I am sure that Grouply may get all those archiving thing they have sorted and hopefully addresses and names will become private. But until then this isn't good for anyone. So let us think before we act and do not join something just cause it looks nifty :) Wow, long book....
