Vaibhavi Merchant Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant are slated to tie the knot at the end of next month.
According to a family source who did not wish to be identified, the wedding is to take place in the last week of March after Sanjay returns from Paris where he is working on a musical, Padmavati, for the French opera house, Theatre du Chatelet. If sources are to be believed Vaibhavi's family is quite excited about the marriage and wedding preparations are on in full swing. Bhansali and Vaibhavi Merchant have been working together for several years with Vaibhavi choreographing for Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Saawariya. But it's only recently, as reported, that the two have been linked romantically. Sanjay Leela Bhansali In the last couple of months the couple, quite reclusive otherwise, have been seen together publicly and Vaibhavi's closeness to Bhansali's family was made obvious at the premiere of his film Saawariya. "She walked into the premiere of the film along with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's mother Leela and sister Bela Saigal and it was more than obvious that Vaibhavi was definitely more than a professional colleague of Bhansali's," said our source.
