Simple... easy.... so good! This soup is made with sliced mushrooms,cooked in 
butter, in a lightly thickened milk mixture. Crumbled bacon issprinkled on top. 
-Cream of Mushroom Soup with Bacon 1 8 oz. carton of fresh sliced mushrooms -  
1/2 stick (unsalted) butter (1/4 cup) 1 tsp. salt1/4 cup flour5 cups of milk1 
chicken bouillon cube 6 slices of bacon (fried crisp, drained and crumbled) 
Using a large pan, on medium heat, saute mushrooms in butter until theyare 
done. Remove pan from burner. Stir flour into mushrooms until theyare 
completely coated. Add milk and stir mixture well. Add bouilloncube. Return to 
medium heat and bring to a boil. The mixture willthicken. Top each bowl with 
bacon crumbles. Notes: This is an easy, delicious soup. Serve with your choice 
of croutons. A good crusty bread is even better. You will love this recipe,it 
holds well in a warmer. Your friends will think you spent all daypreparing it.
