London:
Meet Mavis Price, the human dynamo who will literally leave your hair
standing on end. The 60-year-old granny carries so much static she
blows up electrical appliances just by touching them.
She has
gone through 20 irons and 15 kettles in the past few years and even
walking past her daughter’s home makes the TV crackle. Her shocking
experiences began in the 1950s. She said: “I plugged in a TV and it
flew across the room.
“I had a bad day last week at the
supermarket. I broke the cashing till just standing near it then got
some photos printed and froze the machine.”
Doctors are baffled but Mavis, from Telford, Shropshire, says she’s just got an
electrifying personality.
