Themakeover has always been the domain of the woman. We
decided to changethe rules for the sake of our men. More importantly, we also
wanted toget a makeover that wouldn't cost a bomb (men don't spend that much
onfashion as women do). So what are the things that make men tick whenthey want
a 'new' look? What are the essentials in defining a newcasual look? More
importantly, when do you call it a day? We tookillustrator Sudhir Shetty to get
a boy-next-door look with all of 500bucks.

Why a makeover for me?
Firstly,for the summers, I wanted a better and a cleaner look.
Also,experimenting with style was always on the cards but never knew how togo
about it. I always read in magazines and other TV shows aboutmakeovers but they
always seemed out of budget. And of course, there'smy mom who was hell bent on
making me get a hair cut.
After effects?
Thesemi-formal look has definitely worked. The more surprise people show,the
more I realise how effective the makeover has been. It has somewhathelped me in
my confidence level as well. Of course, I am satisfiedwith the results. I mean,
what else do you get in something like Rs 500?
