Everton captain Phil Neville is selling his extravagantly decorated
Lancashire mansion for £4m. The gates to the house feature the initials P
and J (for Phil and his wife Julie).

The Grade II listed building was bought for £600,000 nine years ago.
However, the footballer and his family recently bought three apartments in
Manchester's Beetham Tower.

The interior decor was hand-picked by Neville's wife and is dominated by
Versace furnishings. Some of the carpets also feature the couple's initials.

The house was originally a 27 bedroom conference centre but the Nevilles
converted it into a luxury six-bedroom residence.

Versace again rules the roost in the master bedroom. The couple also turned
the snooker room and garage into giant play areas for their two children,
Harvey and Isabella.

The house also features a private bar, cinema and fitness room. Despite
being on the market for three months the house remains unsold.
