this is really *bad* then. The purpose of releasing a stable version is to provide a version that is, like, stable. If the releases are unstable, then they are useless and ought to be replaced by an improved release as soon as possible. Nix is supposed to be superior to other distributions in terms of stability. People will hardly believe that when they're being told that using a stable Nix release is considered "risky". Just my 2 cents ...
