Hi Bjorn, Eelco has fixed the segfault that occurred while building Perl. The fix was checked into the branch "stdenv-updates" of the nix-pkgs repository; it's not yet available in "trunk" (or via nix-channels).
Unfortunately, once the build was past that error, it just ran into the next problem (glibc didn't compile, if I remember correctly). Until now, I was completely unable to bootstrap nix-0.13pre15214.
