I vote in favour.
I've reverted the default to GRUB 1 for the moment.
A possible "safe" upgrade path would be to use either GRUB 1 or 2 depending on
what's currently installed, if boot.loader.grub.version is not explicitly set.
The NixOS installation process should default to GRUB 2.
