Delete: /nix/store/ps8c0vgpwz4zdgr0jznxak6cp53f95lm-MANIFEST.bz2 then run: nix-store --verify Your next nixos-rebuild will then download the manifest again.
The problem is that the manifest that you downloaded is corrupted. I had this several times when I was connected to an access point that required me to login. It would then redirect my connection to a login website, which would be downloaded as the manifest file and thus be corrupt. It would actually be nice if nixos-rebuild would transparently deal with this issue. Arie 2012/1/15 Sergey Mironov <ier...@gmail.com> > Hi! Looks like nix-rebuild switch is broken!
