Given that the following works,

def myfunc(x, grad, Run_H):
    f = 0.0

nlopt must have been having problems with an integer being returned.

Shouldn't NLopt either be able to handle integer values returned by the
objective function?

If not this, then shouldn't a "TypeError" be raised instead of a "ValueError:
nlopt invalid argument"?
