Actually, it's a pretty cut and dry copyright infringement case, so it shouldn't be a big deal. You don't screw with Superman or the Loan Ranger because they'll harm you in return. There's nothing Cisco can do to the FSF to harm them. With the suit filed, Cisco's lawyers will quickly sit down and get a settlement arranged and sign a consent decree. Otherwise, they'll be on the hook for every router they've sold, which could bankrupt the company.
