Further investigation shows that I am getting messages via multiple email addressees. One was the original address I used for the old NLUG list. When the list changed to Google Groups I would only get messages sent to the old list so I signed up to the new list using my google address as I had no access to the group using my old address. Apparently over the holiday the two lists finally merged causing some of us to start getting multiple copies of each message. I have had to create accounts using the old email addresses to get them unsubscribed to the list. This should take care of my multiple emails to the list.
