I'm going to throw a bit of humor into this and try to make it a little
on topic at the same time.

I don't pretend to know it all, nor do I speak for anyone but myself.

What peeves me off in what is going on right now is just the idea that
those who risked a lot of money are being bailed out to shore up the
rest of the market. Industry that is too big to allow to fail is a
problem. Throwing money in at the top, and expecting it would trickle down
is a problem. Didn't we learn during Reagan that trickle down economics
isn't really that good over all.

I don't expect that even in hindsight, anything short of banning some
financial derivatives up front could have made anything better.

I don't hate the "fed" so much as I am annoyed with the decisions that
seem to be aimed at smoothing the waters and maintaining the status quo
rather than allowing a proper ecosystem develop. I do believe that
extinction is needed from time to time for that proper ecosystem.

I'll be happy to see a resurgence of fiscal conservatives and a drop
in the moral conservatives.
