I personally run Windows 7/Sabayon Dual boot config. On my Windows side, i don't run any kind of anti virus, other than Malwarebytes specifically because it doesn't run all the time. I let my Untangle firewall handle all the ad blocking and spyware blocking and it does a really good job at it too. Linux and Windows can peacefully co-exist, especially in my house. Now it's true that Malware and Viruses can plague Linux systems from time to time, I think Dell is going for the Mac users mainly with this one because Macs claim they don't get viruses and malware which is all fair game if you're looking at it from a marketing point of view. Dell CAN make this claim because Linux is as well-handled about malware/viruses as Apple is to OSX so I just see it as good old fashioned competition. Kudos to Dell for making this initiative..
