Help. PLEASE.
The good news is that we are using Nagios. The bad news is that a
certain PITA AVP has insisted that everything be moved to SCOM (a
Microsoft centric monitoring system that is crap).
We currently use two plugins for which I am unable to find documentation
for no matter how I search:
check_scratch_media
check_nbjob_errors
Does anyone have a magic decoder ring from which I may be directed to
some kind of documentation beyond ./check_yada_yada --help which
literally tells me nothing. Ultimately, we need to replace these
plugins with bash scripts of equal or better functionality.
How may one replace something for which you have no idea how it functions?
