As it stands now, the startup I'm working with uses Google Apps some,
and it may continue to serve in that role. It just depends on who can
give the best quote for a scalable collaboration, email and calendaring
service. I could roll a fairly capable setup on my own, combining Libre
Office and Evolution, but it would lack the tight integration of
something like Zimbra or Kerio. I have the feeling that there would be a
compromise in terms of flexibility or customization somewhere, but I
don't have the time right now to delve into all of them and see what's
up.
