As far as my talk in August, I was considering talking about DNS and

I, for one, would sincerely appreciate the DNS / DHCP presentation. Just yesterday I was looking at two additional projects: phpDNSadmin and phpDHCPadmin. Haven't gone beyond reading the abstracts. I tried to get phpLDAPadmin to work 8-9 months ago and suffered serious MEGO. Need LDAP (do I dare say NIS) also.

As for my current network challenge, the wireless portion is relatively small; could even be segmented to a separate subnet with a "bridge" / routing / gateway configuration. I've never had a reason to configure a network larger than a /24. As I said before, I don't really think I have a reason here yet either. I am annoyed at the number of fixed (static and dhcp reserved) IPs that fall within the dynamic address range. Why?

My new job has me trying to sip small quantities of knowledge from the firehose of systems I gotta keep going...
