I have a process that is still running, has been for, say, 20 minutes.
The only things in /var/log/messages are NetworkManager / dhclient
refreshes.

Have searched for yum hangs "Setting up Package Sacks" and have found
quite the litany of posts - none of which have found the silver bullet.
One interesting note recommended not just moving the extra
/etc/yum.repos.d/blah.repo files out of the directory but to actually
rpm -e the additional repos. I have attempted to revert back to a base
CentOS config for repos and yum still hangs.
