Vanderbilt is using a product called Shibboleth (http://shibboleth.net/).
It's my understanding that Shibboleth is only used by one system at this
time. Shibboleth implements SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) - an
open standard for authentication.

I have been unsuccessfully trying to configure the client on our tiny,
departmental server.
