I've inherited an Ubuntu 9.10 server that can't really be updated or messed
with too much but there are no backups of this system.

I'd like to get some sort of regular backup running a full system image to
a NAS. My usual go-to software for this is Veeam Agent for Linux, but it's
requirements are Ubuntu 10.04 or newer (probably because it requires Linux
kernel 2.6.32 or higher.)

Does anyone have a simple backup software for online full-system images to
a NAS? I know I can use Clonezilla from a USB key to make an offline
backup, but I'd like to set up something that will run as a scheduled job
(and preferably email me.)

There are no other servers in this business that I can run software from,
so this has to run on the system, itself.

Thanks!
